My name is Linda Tilley. Thank you for checking out my website. I am currently accepting new clients.

I am a Registered Psychologist in Alberta, and I have been counselling in Edmonton for over 3 decades.  I have a number of areas of particular interest,  which are outlined in the banner above. In addition to my experience as a counsellor, I have developed a model of treatment for ADHD (click for an introductory video about that model) that I typically use with my adult clients, and that I have been training other therapists in Canada to use. I currently counsel adults and older adolescents - I no longer do assessments.

As a therapist my main goal is to provide a warm, accepting and nurturing environment in which my clients can explore their vulnerable places and grow from them. Often our life circumstances, or even those of our parents and grand-parents, have led us to mistaken beliefs about ourselves, our worth, and our place in life. When we examine these beliefs in a realistic and compassionate manner, we find ways to change that we never believed were possible for us. I have witnessed many such changes over the years, and I believe that a full and happy life is possible for all of us.

In addition to clients with ADHD, I also like working with targets of workplace bullying, highly sensitive people, burned out professionals, people with significant sleep disturbances, and couples who have lost the "zing" in their relationship.

The benefit of experience is that it allows me to go deeper into issues, faster than less experienced therapists. Maturity and wisdom allow us to see the bigger picture, and to help clients move through their challenges to come out the other side.
